12 tags of 2016 - july - thinking of you

 This summer-inspired tag, created for the 12 tags of 2016 july technique remix, features some techniques that, again, I've never tried before! They were so simple and fun too. I never would have thought of combining the die cut "you" from Ellen Hutson with the Tim Holtz label stamps and dies without this technique remix!

 I knotted up some ideaology jute twine and threaded it in lieu of brads... I love the simple effect and how the colors match the flower. It wasn't planned that way! I faux-stitched some lines and used Brushed Pewter Distress Stain to speckle and add some shine to the tag.
